Mitch Barnhart

Mitch Barnhart, the Director of Athletics for the University of Kentucky, is the state National Guard Youth ChalleNGe spokesperson.  As the leader of one of the nation's top athletic programs, Barnhart understands the value of hard work, education and self-esteem. 

Barnhart  became a NGYCP spokesperson in August 2005.  So far, he has visited with cadets at Fort Knox and he is working with UK and the NGYCP to incorporate the cadets into sporting events and is planning future visits.
