Teen succeeds in program

VESUVIUS - Micah Wyant dreamed of a career in the military since he was 12 years old.

But, as his mother put it, it's the things he didn't think about that almost got in the way.

Micah, now 16, was just a few months into his freshman year of high school when he got expelled... again. It was the third consecutive year he'd been booted from Rockbridge county schools, for offenses such as getting caught with drug paraphernalia. This time he never went back.
