NATIONAL GUARD OFFERS PROGRAM FOR DROPOUTS

The National Guard's Bluegrass ChalleNGe Academy is looking for a few good dropouts.
Or at least some at-risk youth from Clark County looking to bolster their futures and self-esteem by obtaining a GED in a quasi-military environment.
Located at Fort Knox and funded by the state and United States Department of Defense, the 22-week residential academy aims to teach life skills to both male and female high school dropouts from across Kentucky, transforming the at-risk teenagers into contributing members of society.
