State leaders' attitude about Indiana's dropout epidemic clearly is changing.
Legislators in this year's session narrowed the list of accepted excuses students younger than 18 can give for quitting high school. The new bill followed a measure adopted last year that raised the minimum age at which a student can drop out from 16 to 18.
