SECRETARY OF DEFENSE DONALD RUMSFELD HOLDS SPECIAL PENTAGON BRIEFING WITH CADETS

Sixty cadets representing each of the NGYCP's 30 sites met Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld for a special meeting in the Pentagon briefing room on February 28. The cadets had a question and answer session with the Secretary where he commended them for their work and urged them to continue to aim high. After the meeting, the cadets took a tour of the Pentagon and later that evening they represented their states at the ChalleNGe Champions Dinner, which also included program directors, First Spouses and Congressional leaders.
